Cards = Care 💌
I strongly believe tangible greetings cards still have a place in this age of emails and instant messaging. All my cards are handmade by me with love, care and attention to detail. My customers can communicate their love by sending cards to those they care about. I enjoy being part of this process. It makes me happy to be able to help people show others that they care. This has been more important than ever during the pandemic when we have been so far from our loved ones.

The support of my hubby, my family and my friends has been the foundation of Catkin Crafts. This business has given me the flexibility to look after my daughter at home whilst doing something that I love. For this, I am incredibly grateful and it is something I always keep in mind as I strive to grow my small business, all the time hoping to be an inspiration to my daughter and to make my family proud.
Self Love 💖
Catkin Crafts was born out of a need to find self compassion, to return to my love of art and find the confidence to pursue my dreams. Since embarking on this venture, it has been essential that I stay true to myself, continuing to create products that I love and am passionate about. This also feeds into the third of my brand values - the mind.

Throughout my small biz journey, it has become clear how incredibly important it is to be part of a caring and supportive community - whether in real life or through social networking. At Catkin Crafts, I love to support and promote other small businesses by making purchases and sharing, liking and commenting on social media. I am eternally grateful for all the support I receive on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
What does the future hold?
I will continue to increase my card range for additional celebrations as well as creating more products that promote self love and mindfulness. Now my website is live, I will be writing more blog posts to support and promote other independent makers. My long term goals include starting a community craft group but more on this in the future. And of course, I will be continuing to make cards for my own friends and family. 😊
